Agricultural Robotics Internship in Australia/New Zealand

Abundant Robotics is preparing to deploy the world’s first robotic apple harvesters. We are seeking interns to help operate, evaluate the performance of, and nominate feature improvements for these new systems during field trials in apple orchards in New Zealand and Australia.

Abundant will provide training at their office in Hayward, CA in mid-January 2019. We will then travel as a group to our work locations in either Australia or New Zealand for the months of February – through mid-May.


  • $15 (US) per hour – 40 hours per week expected
  • Housing provided by the company
  • Round-trip transportation from San Francisco to Australia/New Zealand

Target candidates:

  • Majors: Any can apply
  • 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year undergraduates, or 1st year masters students
  • Must be a US Citizen
