FSMA Final Rule Series: “Preventive Controls for Human Food and Animal Feed”
With the publication of FDA’s final Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) rule for Preventive Controls for Human Food and Animal Feed, the Produce Marketing Association and United Fresh Produce Association, in partnership with regional produce association are working together to provide a FREE webinar to help industry members understand the final rules and implications for their businesses.
Our top priority is to assure that all industry members are well informed and have an opportunity to ask questions of FDA about these new regulations. Understanding what businesses are covered or not covered by these regulations and how the specific provisions of each regulation applies to your business is the first step in being prepared to be compliant with these new business requirements. During this webinars, participants will be able to clarify how these new regulations will specifically affect their businesses and also have an opportunity to ask FDA subject matter experts specific questions about these new regulations.
The Northwest Horticultural Council is a cosponsor and participant in this joint PMA/United effort to help industry better understand FDA’s continuing implementation of FSMA. Any interested produce grower.packer/shipper may listen in. Click here for more information and to register.
