Sweet Cherry Bud Hardiness February 8, 2018

Dr. David Gibeaut and Drew Hubbard, OSU Department of Horticulture, are measuring cold hardiness of sweet cherry buds as part of their program’s study in cold hardiness of sweet cherry.

For samples measured on February 8th in The Dalles, OR buds were at stage 0-1 with the following cold hardiness (fig 1).
