Are you a farmer, producer, or local food supplier interested in selling products to a local school district or childcare center? Come connect directly with school buyers to hear about what they are interested in buying and share what products you have available!
Participating school districts so far include:
- Ellensburg School District
- Grandview School District
- West Valley School District (Yakima)
- Selah School District
- Wahluke School District (Mattawa)
This meeting is an opportunity for farmers growing and/or delivering to the S. Central Washington area to start (or increase) supplying school, childcare, and institutional buyers with more local foods. Find out which products and how much schools are interested in purchasing, ask questions about their needs, hear about vendor requirements, and share information about your farm and product availability.
Farm to school is a great way to be a part of feeding kids in your community nutritious foods. Start planning your future farm to school sales. RSVP and be a part of educating students about local agriculture, and where their food comes from!
