May 26 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

| Free

Join us for a special guest seminar by Dr. Carolina Torres del Campo about “Climate change in Chile: Unpredictable events that affect pome fruit quality.”

Dr. Carolina Torres del Campos is a postharvest researcher from Centro De Pomaceas, University of Talca, Talca, Chile. She is working with Dr. Dave Rudell, a USDA researcher based at the ARS laboratory in Wenatchee (on the WSU TFREC campus) on a grant (WTFRC #AP-16-102) to study how pre-harvest sun exposure is related to chemical changes leading to postharvest losses, such as sunscald. All interested people are welcome to attend this seminar.

This seminar can be viewed in-person at the WSU Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center’s large conference room, or at one of the following remote locations via AMS:

WSU Mt. Vernon R&E Center (contact: Jacqui King, kingjack@wsu.edu)
WSU Prosser R&E Center (contact: Rob Blakey, rob.blakey@wsu.edu)
