August 5 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

View Print Version

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) will present apple export protocols for China, Mexico, Taiwan, Japan, and pear export protocol for China.  Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) will present the new, internet platform registration process for the Mexico apple export program. These workshops are designed to present operational guidance about required export protocols and associated documentation.

In addition to the new, Mexico apple registration process, WSDA will review components that need to be completed in order for shippers to efficiently comply with export regulation and certification.

Your host: Northwest Fruit Exporters (NFE)
Audience: Participants in Apple & Pear Export Programs
Programs Covered: Apple: china, Japan, Mexico, and Taiwan; Pear: China

When: Due to COVID-19 meeting restrictions, the two onsite meetings have been rescheduled as a single online webinar on August 5. To preregister for the event and receive your online meeting link, please contact Fred Scarlett at scarlett@nwhort.org or Stacey at nfe@nwhort.org.

New personnel from your facility are especially encouraged to attend the workshop for export protocol instruction.  It also serves as a good refresher for existing personnel.
