WA 38 Pruning Tour – North Central Region

The North Central Washington WA 38 Dormant Pruning Tour is scheduled for Friday, November 9, 2018. The tour will focus on training and dormant pruning on first and second leaf trees trained to various systems.

Feel free to come and go as your schedule allows and/or as stops are of interest.

Directions: Hwy 97/20 turn onto Eberlie Rd. Follow WSU signs down this dead-end road.
Landmark off the road is a giant rock the size of a small house.

1:30 – 2:45 20 East Rocky Road, Orondo, WA 98843
Directions: Turn east onto East Rocky Road; follow WSU signs down to orchard block.

Stop #3 Legacy Orchards – East W3natchee 47°25’13.9″N, 120°11’48.5″W or 47.421634, -120.196745
3:30 -5:00 4040 10th St. NE, East Wenatchee, 98802
Directions: Take Grant Road past the roundabout by the airport and continue heading east. Take first left (north) off of Grant onto Grant Road and proceed just past Sabey storage data center and take a left at the Legacy sign just before the Northern Fruit company storage. Then follow the paved road all the way to the top and continue driving to the large water reservoir.
