Dear Colleagues,

Every 4 years the ISHS working groups of Rootstock Breeding and Evaluation (Chair: Gennaro Fazio, PhD), Orchard and Plantation Systems (Chair: Greg Lang, PhD) Environmental Physiology and Developmental Biology (Chair: Luca Corelli Grappadelli, PhD) organize a worldwide symposium at which advances in a range of research topics are presented and discussed.

Hereby, we wish to inform you that the deadline for symposium abstract submission has been open since June 1st, 2019 and will close on January 31th, 2020.

  • Full registration to the event allows entrance to all days of the session and field day (from Sun 26th to Fri 31st)
  • Registration deadline on May 1st, 2020 (see important dates)
  • All speakers must register by March 15th, 2020. Failing to register will result in the abstract withdrawn.
  • On-site payment NOT ALLOWED
  • Fees in USD taxes included

* Only one purchase allowed per person valid for a single day entrance, either on July 27th, 28th, or 29th.
** Registration required for an accompanying person who wants to participate to any allowed symposium activity (see below). Not required if attending other tours only.
  † Online streaming for the half-day sesion, only available to external people not registered to the full event. Max number of participants will be determined based on the streaming capacity. Registration online available soon.


Registration includes the Opening Welcome, a copy of the conference proceedings that will be published as a volume of Acta Horticulturae (only with full registration; not for student registrants), breakfasts, coffee breaks and lunch every day (except July 31st), and all the offers included in the social program such as the transportation for the field tour day (July 30, 2020). Gala dinner is included for the first 200 participants only due to the limitation in the capacity of the restaurant. See site for details.

Hotel reservations:

A number of rooms has been reserved for the conference at a discounted rate in these two Hotels located in the vicinity of the conference venue.
If you prefer, other hotels are available in Wenatchee but are further away and we will not provide daily transportation to the Convention Center.
