2021 WTFRC Cherry Pesticide Residue Study

Since 2011, the Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission has conducted annual studies to provide the Northwest cherry industry with basic information about residues of commonly used pesticides. These studies are intended to help growers and consultants make more informed pest management decisions with respect to concerns about Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) in foreign markets.

The 2021 report includes results for 19 commonly used active ingredients found in 12 insecticides/acaricides and 7 fungicides, including some new products tested for the first time.

The results of that study and similar reports from previous years on apple and cherry including summaries across multiple years of data are now available on the WTFRC homepage: www.treefruitresearch.org
