Una taller para agricultores organizado por Washington State University Extension y NCW Fieldmen’s Association. Este session es parte de North Central Washington Tree Fruit Days. Educational workshop covering horticulture and pest management. 2-3 WSDA Pesticide education certification credits will be available on WSDA approval.

No cost to attend. No registration necessary. In person only.

Speakers

 

Alfredo Reyes is the Area Manager for Washington Fruit & Produce. Alfredo has 15 years experience designing effective pest and disease management programs for Stemilt and Washington Fruit.

Aina Baro Sabe is a Researcher with Washington State University. Her work focuses on fire blight management.

Tianna DuPont is a Tree Fruit Extension Specialist. Her work focuses on helping growers understand and apply research based solutions for tree fruit pests and pathogens.

Uriel Meza is a horticulturalist with Washington Fruit. He manages the integrated pest management program for multiple orchards in Othello.

William (Bill) Sennett is a pesticide educator for the Washington State Department of Agriculture.  He recently transferred from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services where he served as an inspector. Bill studied Ecology and French at the University of Connecticut, he has spent time in Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and Spain and served 2 years in the US Navy.
