VIRTUAL SYMPOSIUM SCHEDULED

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to communicate the XII ISHS International Symposium on Integrating Canopy, Rootstock, and Environmental Physiology in Orchard Systems (Wenatchee, WA) will be hosted exclusively in a virtual digital format July 26-30, 2021.

The new deadline for paper submission is now April 30, 2021.

Online registration is now open!
Please visit the ISHS symposium website, available HERE , for the details about registration fees and other symposium deadlines.

While we can’t be together, we are committed to finding ways to collaborate and connect with each other during this unusual situation. Many virtual meetings are finding new audiences because of the online format.

We have hired a professional company that conducts virtual meetings and specializes in participant and sponsor engagement.

Due to the online format, participation from 30 countries with multiple time zones, and possible numerous computer connection issues, we are requesting that all oral presentations be pre-recorded. We will provide the instructions about the recording format for oral presentations and the layout for poster presentations as soon as possible.

Our intent is for attendees to have access to the oral presentations after it is ‘presented’ at the Symposium.

Based on the conditions mentioned above, I would like to receive feedback from each of you confirming your willingness to present your research in a pre-recorded oral format.

If you submitted your abstract as a poster, you can confirm as well that you are still of the intention to present it. This will facilitate the conference schedule building for both types of presentations (oral/poster).

I am excited about this conference and look forward to collaborating with you.

Best regards,

Stefano Musacchi
Convener
