Since 2011, the Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission has conducted annual studies to provide the Northwest cherry industry basic information about residues of commonly used pesticides. These studies are intended to help growers and consultants make more informed pest management decisions with respect to concerns about Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) in foreign markets. The 2024 report has just been posted and includes results for 14 commonly used active ingredients found in 11 insecticides/acaricides and 3 fungicides, including some new products tested for the first time. The results of that study and similar reports from previous years on apple and cherry is now available on the WTFRC homepage: www.treefruitresearch.org
