New Inversion Forecasting System for Optimal Use of Wind Machines

Join WSU AWN team to learn about a new forecasting platform on AWN to detect inversions and optimal use of wind machines particularly in frost protection with fruit crops. AWN team will discuss the basics of inversions, how they can be monitored, and the network of 47 towers now forecasting WA inversions. There will also be a live demo of how to use the new forecasts in AWN.

PRESENTER: Basavaraj Amogi & Sean Hill, AWN WSU

Format: This will be a virtual zoom meeting to include a short presentation, a live demo of AWN portal features, and discussion/questions with participants.
