Hot off the press! WA 38 Flower Biology, Fruit Set, and Crop Load Management is the first published chapter of the WA 38: Best Management Practices Handbook. The chapter summarizes research conducted by Serra, Sheick, Sallato, Schmidt and Musacchi. Topics include flower biology, EPP, suitable pollinizers; fruit set management, including natural drop, growth regulators, supplemental pollen, ground covers and pollinator exclusion; and effect of crop load on biennial bearing and fruit quality.
