Bring Beneficial Insects and Pollinators into your Farm

Written by Michael Trier, Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, January 30, 2025

Who can participate?

General Mills and Tree Top partner growers or any growers with organic crops. If you aren’t sure, contact us.

How it works

Get expert technical support from the Xerces Society consultants about habitat development and materials like plants and irrigation line at no cost. The grower is asked to provide the labor for installation and maintenance of the habitat for at least 4 years. Cost share is typically 40% or less, which is very competitive compared to most state and federal programs.
