There is one Program Analyst II opening with the Yakima County Horticulture Department. This position is responsible for coordinating the activities and recommendations of the Pest Board; Pro-actively receives and resolves complaints involving horticultural pests in commercial and noncommercial properties. Pro-actively determines infestation risks to Commercial Orchard operations and requires treatment and/or removals of homeowner trees and of unfarmed/abandoned orchards in the unique on-farm economics of this era and treats that risk in a fiscally responsible manner.
