The WA Tree Fruit Research Commission in collaboration with the Oregon Sweet Cherry Commission would like to invite everyone interested to attend this year’s NW Cherry and Stone Fruit Research Review. This event will feature continuing research project reports in the areas of LCD (i.e. vector management, low titer trees, replant strategies, volatile biomarkers), SWD, nutrient management, modeling cold hardiness, and pesticide residues.
Final reports on SWD management, the cherry breeding program (3-year summary) and understanding and mitigating the effects of LCD will also be presented.
Additionally, updates will be provided on technology initiatives, WTFRC board activities and the California Sweet Cherry Board will present updates on their research funding status.
A full agenda will be uploaded to the WA Tree Fruit Research Commission website approximately 2 weeks in advance of the review. Pesticide credits will be available.
