Potential de-listing several crop protection products of importance for organic tree fruit production

NATIONAL ORGANIC STANDARDS BOARD: The NOSB will be meeting in October 2021 to vote on maintaining or de-listing several crop protection products of importance for tree fruit production. One critical vote will be on List 3 Inerts, which are in every mating disruption product, including hand-applied dispensers, puffers, and monitoring lures. NHC staff will provide written and oral comment on all materials of concern for tree fruit. Additional letters from growers concerned with the potential loss of mating disruption in organic production are encouraged to write their own letters. A template letter is provided Template NOSB Letter. Written comment must be submitted to the Federal Register Regulations.gov. by September 30.
