Sunflare™ Pre-Harvest Field Tour South

Join Kate Evans, Stefano Musacchi, Manoella Mendoza and Bernardita Sallato to learn more about our new apple variety WA 64, trade marked as Sunflare^TM

We will start at the WSU IAREC Roza farm to look at a 4^th leaf and a newly planted demonstration block on different rootstocks (Bud 9, G 969, G 890, G 41 + M9-337 and G 11) in various tree training systems. Followed by one of the oldest WA 64 sites, in its 11 ^th leaf at Allan Bros WSU apple breeding program Phase 3 site.

  N Aller Rd, Prosser, WA 99350. From W Hanks Rd NW, go north on N Aller Rd, this will curve and take you around a bend and then up a steep hill. Look for signage to orchard blocks.
