'apples in branch'Join Kate Evans, Stefano Musacchi, Manoella Mendoza and Bernardita Sallato to learn more about our new apple variety WA 64, trade marked as SunflareTM

We will start at the WSU IAREC Roza farm to look at a 4th leaf and a newly planted demonstration block on different rootstocks (Bud 9, G 969, G 890, G 41 + M9-337 and G 11) in various tree training systems. Followed by one of the oldest WA 64 sites, in its 11 th leaf at Allan Bros WSU apple breeding program Phase 3 site.

    N Aller Rd, Prosser, WA 99350. From W Hanks Rd NW, go north on N Aller Rd, this will curve and take you around a bend and then up a steep hill. Look for signage to orchard blocks.
