With increasing organic acreage and scrutiny of antibiotics use, alternatives to antibiotics for the control of fire blight are necessary. Dr. Ken Johnson, Oregon State University, talked about biopesticide efficacy and their use for the control of fire blight during his talk at the Fire Blight Fruit School that took place in Wenatchee on February 23, 2023. This project was funded by a grant by the USDA SCRI.
