Update on potential Apple Maggot Quarantine in Orroville area. Will Carpenter, Tri-County Pest Board.

4:10 pm – Codling Moth Pheromone Trapping

Betsy Beers, WSU Entomology will discuss factors influencing trap catch and new product efficacy.

Rod Wedel, High View Orchard and Curtis Pusey, Wilbur Ellis will show camera-based traps.

4:30 pm – Dieback and Canker Diseases of Cherries

Show and tell with Gary Grove, WSU Plant Pathology. Gary will bring examples of three common cherry dieback cankers for you to see and discuss potential management.

4:50 pm – Bird and Rodent Control

Experiences with Drapenet and lasers for bird control, show and tell at High View. Mike Brown will share experiences from Gebbers.  Tianna DuPont, WSU will summarize rodent control recommendations from UC Davis rodent specialist.
