CPAAS and Ag Weather Network Open House

Prosser WA: WSU CAHNRS’s Center for Precision & Automated Agricultural Systems (CPAAS) and AgWeatherNet (AWN) are hosting an Open House. This event will provide growers, agricultural industry professionals, crop consultants, government representatives and researchers an update from both units on weather and crop sensing as well as cutting-edge agricultural technologies being researched at WSU.
Highlights of this year’s event include technology exhibition related to 1) robotic pruning, thinning, pollination, nutrient application and harvesting, 2) site-specific frost/heat stress monitoring and management, 3) precision/smart fixed and movable crop protection technologies, 4) mesoscale weather mapping and associated decision support tools, and 5) know-how on private weather stations integration within AWN ecosystem.
