WA 64 Spring Field Tour
Join Kate Evans, Stefano Musacchi and Bernardita Sallato who will introduce the new apple variety WA 64 in two field tours. Learn what we know so far about this new apple and how to grow it.
South
First stop is 2nd leaf trees at WSU Roza on 4 different rootstocks with various tree management systems. These will be contrasted with the 9th leaf trees at Allan Bros WSU apple breeding program Phase 3 site.

N Aller Rd, Prosser, WA 99350. From W Hanks Rd NW, go north on N Aller Rd, this will curve and take you around a bend and then up a steep hill. Look for signage to orchard blocks.
North

When: Wednesday May 24th at 2:30 PM

- Start: WSU Sunrise Orchard @ 2.30PM

- Then: Stemilt Quincy P 3 @ 4:00 PM
Turn north on 10024 Rd U NW with HW 28, Quincy, WA 98848. Look for signage to orchard blocks.
