Apple fruit surface temperature model

Sean Hill with AgWeatherNet has implemented apple fruit surface temperature (FST) model (Beta version) on AWN web portal with input from Troy Peters, Rakesh Ranjan and Lav Khot. For registered user, portal allows selecting specific weather station(s) and the model runs on the station data to have fruit surface temperature estimated for past 7 days to the current weather observation (in 15 min resolution). The team is working on the forecasting tool, so growers can set alerts to receive text/email if set FST threshold exceeds.

At this point, Ag WeatherNet is looking for few users to test this model (beta version) this field season. If you are interested in testing the model, please contact:
