2018 Pear Pruning and Horticulture Walk
Are you interested in improving your pear blocks? Are you interested in higher density pears or how higher density techniques can help you in your standard pear blocks? Join Dr. Stefano Musacchi, Washington State University Professor of Horticulture and Bob Gix, Blue Star Horticulturalist for a demonstration of pear pruning. We will discuss and demonstrate: tying, spreading and other ways to move away from loppers; simple branches, keeping branches headed up; and controlling the tops of trees in later years.
The Southern Region demonstration will be held on Feb. 5th. View event.
