Expert Presentations
WSU research scientists and invited guests present their tree fruit research results and share their knowledge of topics in YouTube video format. Videos include invited seminars, grower meeting presentations, lab visits, and field day events. They are listed in chronological order, with the most recent on top. By visiting the main “About” section of the website and choosing “Videos”, the videos page loads with a “Search” box at the top of the page. By using this search feature, you can search by keyword to more quickly find videos that relate to the specific topic you are interested in. See what the leading experts have to say about Pruning, Weed Management, Disease management, Soil and Roots, Insect Pest Management, Apple Breeding, the Decision Aid System, and more. The featured presentation list will continually be updated, as new presentations are created.

Video Interviews
View video interviews with WSU scientists, USDA-ARS scientists, and other industry experts to learn more about research programs and tree fruit investigations here. Dr. Jay Brunner, Director of the WSU Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center (TFREC) provides a tour of the Sunrise Orchard and discusses research being conducted at WSU’s experimental orchard. Dr. Vince Jones, Entomologist at WSU-TFREC talks about the Future of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in orchard crops, and Dr. Kate Evans, WSU Breeder, and others describe the new Cosmic Crisp™WA 38 apple that was developed at WSU, during grower field days.

A brief summary of the video content is included below the video screen, and a more detailed description of the scientist’s research and work featured, is listed under “More,” below the summary.
